Steve Abee is well known for his swirl-ware, however, he is just as accomplished with his distinct face jugs. With their wide open mouths, bulging eyes, and realistic looking teeth, he has gained a reputation for his very creative face vessels.

Steve meticulously turns and hand builds these pieces into wonderful works of art using local clay and firing them in a "Ground-Hog" kiln.
